Kazuri Ceramic Double Drop Earrings, White & Gold
John Lewis have really hit the mark for stylish pieces this coming autumn.
They feature the work of supplier Kazuri which produces hand painted ceramic jewellery, made in Kenya by local women.
The above earrings consist of two pairs of coin-like discs, in gold and white mother of pearl. Each disc is kiln fired and then fired again producing an individual piece which is never the same twice.
Kazuri means ‘small and beautiful’ in Swahili. I couldn’t agree more! A very welcome piece of Fair Trade jewellery!
