Scarlett Erskine has launched her latest collection: Exposed.
This collection is an alternative range of jewellery inspired by textures of the skin and structures of skin cells.
With both timeless and statement pieces, it is appealing to the fashionistas as much to the classic wearers, with particular interest being expressed in the ear-cuff line – something that seems to be very 2013.
Scarlett Erskine launched her collection this year at International Jewellery London and also had a selection of her work shown on the IJL Runway which was displaying the must have trends of AW2013.
Scarlett explains her inspiration: “I wanted to create both wearable and fashionable pieces that enhance the wearers confidence.”
This coupled with the use of very intricate settings of precious and semi precious gemstones such as morganite, white and champagne diamonds, sky blue topaz, mint quartz and smokey quartz makes the collection completely unique and definitely one to pay attention to.
Scarlett added, “This years colour way of pastel tones highlights the beauty of the uniquely textured silver and oxidised silver.”
As a jeweller, Scarlett is achieving significant and credible industry recognition.
She has won the ‘Guild of Jewellery Designers’ award and has had pieces from her collection modelled on the runway at Nightwalk SS13 - a fashion show in Glasgow.
Inspired by the skin, to be worn on the skin, Exposed has a number of pieces to suit a wide variety of budgets and can be viewed at scarletterskine.com
